The American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA) is a professional organization representing certified public accountants in the United States. With members across 143 countries, AICPA needed an Enterprise Content Records Management (ECRM) system to store and manage their critical business documents.

IQBG offers the most trusted and proven ECRM implementations in the marketplace, and this case study with AICPA highlights their ability to deliver cost-effective, reliable, and scalable solutions.

The Challenge

IQBG, a leading provider of ECRM solutions, was selected to implement the OpenText ECRM technology, including Content Server, Directory Services, and Tempo Box, in the Microsoft Azure cloud. The goal was to increase the capacity of existing infrastructure, achieve high-performance computing, and take advantage of low-cost, low-touch runtime environments.

We are now benefitting from even greater performance, which translates to further efficiency gains as well as functional improvements available in the new release.”

The Solution

The migration of AICPA’s OpenText ECRM applications out of “legacy” environments into the Microsoft Azure cloud was completed by IQBG in 2014 and is still ongoing. The migration resulted in a cost savings of $50 thousand, and the anticipated total savings are $418,000.

By leveraging the ECRM system and applications implemented by IQBG, AICPA can efficiently store and manage their critical business documents. Members across 143 countries can access the system, improving collaboration and communication among team members.

The migration to the Microsoft Azure cloud has significantly increased the capacity of existing infrastructure and achieved high-performance computing, enabling AICPA to meet their evolving business needs.
